Our technicians and field staff start the cutting process at 07:00 am everyday of the year and in all the greenhouses. This process takes around 4 hours. For the “quick-opening” varieties, and depending on weather conditions, we must do a second harvest the same day from 01:00 pm in order to ensure that our customers will have the cutting point required.

Qualified personnel, each member of staff knows the cutting point specific to the variety and also how to handle the flower once cut, carry out the cutting process.
Our cutting points ensure the opening of our roses and their vase-life.
We can adapt the cutting point for all varieties depending on the needs of the customer. We treat this as special order not to distort the usual cutting process of the farm.
During the cutting process, the roses are grouped by variety and put in plastic nets with protection in order to preserve bud and foliage. They are then immediately put to re-hydrate in plastic tanks full of water which are located in the middle alley in each ggreenhouse. This guarantees that the flower doesn’t loose any liquid during the cutting process.
Soon after, a cable cart collects the nets from the plastic tanks to transfer them to the post-harvest room. This process takes a maximum of 10 minutes and it guarantees a longer vase-life of our roses.
